Aloe vera extract wound healing sheet and free-range chicken egg albumin (gallus domesticus) accelerate angiogenesis on gingival incision wound in rats

ABSTRACTIntroduction: Incision wounds are injuries caused by dental surgery procedures. Suturing is the gold standard for post-incision management, but it can cause patient discomfort. Tissue glue be used wound healing, its carcinogenicity still needs to investigated. A Wound Healing Sheet (WHS) made of Aloe vera extract and free-range chicken egg albumin expected an alternative material. Angiogenesis a highly observable part as newly formed blood vessels support nutrition, act scaffold cells migrate area, play essential role in healing. This study aimed analyze effect WHS from (Gallus domesticus) on number vascular that show acceleration healing gingival incision wounds. Methods: Quasi experimental with total sample 24 male rats (Rattus norvegicus Wistar strain) were divided into four groups, namely T1 (50% treated group), T2 (100% group, S (suturing group positive control), NC (negative control, without treatment). The treatment was performed throughout seven days. data obtained analyzed statistically using One-way ANOVA Post Hoc LSD. Results: highest count Group (8+1.63); followed (7+1.60); (7+ 1.49); (4+1.41). Statistical analysis showed there significant difference between groups S, T1, (p-value < 0.05); interestingly, no > 0.05).
